Garcia & Bodan (El Salvador), through Federico Gurdián Sacasa, Managing Partner, and Julio Vargas, Senior Associate and Director of the Intellectual Property Department, are currently advising Marcas Mundiales de Honduras on corporate and intellectual property issues, particularly with regards to the protection of their distinctive signs in Central American as in Panama.

Marcas Mundiales de Honduras, based in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is in said country one of the principal and largest companies in the importation and distribution of international brands of great prestige (at a regional and global level), standing out as a leader in the distribution and sale of spirits, food and confectionery (candies), among other products.

Additionally, in coordination with the Presidency and General Management of the company, Garcia & Bodan (El Salvador)  is advising the company in matters related to its entry into the markets of Central America and Panama, addressing topics of special interest and importance to that effect, such as the protection and registration of their own brands in all the countries of the region where they expect to have presence.
