On March 29, UniCredit Bank Austria AG performed the sale of its shares representing 50% of the capital stock of Banco B.I Creditanstalt S.A. in favor of San Mateo S.A., and as a consequence thereof, the exit of the Austrian bank from Argentina was completed.

 The transfer of the shares took place in the framework of a global transaction that included, among other items, the capitalization of Banco B.I. Creditanstalt S.A. with certain credits granted by UniCredit Bank Austria AG and UniCredit Bank AG for an amount of capital over US$ 72 million. Also, due to the exit of UniCredit Bank Austria AG, the Bank changed its corporate name to “Banco Interfinanzas S.A.”
