Arias & Muñoz has advised H.B. Fuller in the sale of its paint business division in Latin America to Pintuco, a company of Inversiones Mundial S.A., in a transaction which value amounts to US$120 million.

The multi jurisdictional team led by Costa Rica Partner Pedro Muñoz included the participation of lawyers from every office of Arias & Muñoz in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, who were in charge of every anti-trust aspect, complex labor considerations, the bidding process, signing and closing.

Close work was carried out with Faegre, Baker, Daniels, US counsel for H.B. Fuller, and the buyer’s advisors Oreamuno and Batalla Abogados.
