TCA Tanoira Cassagne appoints new partners

TCA Tanoira Cassagne has appointed two new partners: Ignacio Criado Díaz for its areas of "Banking and Finance Law" and "Capital Markets" and Ignacio Gonzalez Zambón for its areas of "Administrative Law" and "Environmental Law".

The appointment of Criado Díaz will enhance the firm’s growing capital markets and financial law practice, an area in which the firm is a market leader, with a variety of clients including major banks, market participants and issuers.

Criado Díaz, whose practice focuses on corporate finance and financial institutions, joined the firm in 2014. With his appointment, the firm now has 4 partners in the areas of "Banking and Finance Law" and "Capital Markets".

The newly promoted to partner is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Católica Argentina with postgraduate studies at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He has been recognized by Chambers & Partners Global as "Associate to Watch in Banking & Finance", and by The Legal 500 as "Rising Star in Banking & Finance".

He is a specialist in CNV regulation and securitization and structured finance transactions, and Professor of the Graduate Program of Banking Law and Corporate Finance at Universidad Austral. In the Project Finance industry he has advised on more than twenty cross-border transactions in the Renewable Energy sector.

With respect to the incorporation of Ignacio Gonzalez Zambón, the firm strengthens the development of the Public Law Department led by Bernardo Cassagne, specifically in the areas of "Administrative Law" and "Environmental Law" by adding to its roster of partners a distinguished specialist in both areas.

Gonzalez Zambón is also a graduate of the Universidad Católica Argentina and is a specialist in "Administrative Law and Economic Regulation" and "Environmental Law" from the same University. He teaches Elements of Administrative Law at the University of Buenos Aires and is the author of numerous publications on the subject in well-known newspapers and portals.

He has advised numerous national and international companies in various highly regulated industries as well as public service concessionaires. He has advised national and international companies in administrative proceedings, public bids and procurements, administrative litigation as well as environmental litigation.
