Ximena Zuluaga is the new President and Country Managing Partner of EY Colombia
EY Law - Ximena Zuluaga has been appointed new President and Country Managing Partner of EY Colombia (formerly Ernst & Young) by its Board of Partners. Effective July 1, 2024, she will assume her new position, succeeding Edgar Sanchez, who led the firm for eight years.
Ximena joined EY Colombia in 2002 and was named Partner in 2008. She currently leads the EY Law Latin America team. With more than 25 years of experience, she has held various leadership roles in the firm, being EY Law Lead Partner for Colombia and Mexico, International Tax Lead Partner for EY Colombia and Risk Management Lead Partner for EY Latin America North.
Facing the new professional challenge, Ximena stated: "EY Colombia is a firm with diverse talent and multidisciplinary knowledge, integrated by more than 2,000 professionals who, supported by data, technology, processes and different perspectives, work tirelessly to generate confidence in the markets, help our clients succeed and generate a positive impact for our country. Ximena is a lawyer from the Universidad de San Buenaventura, a specialist in commercial law from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with studies in international taxation from the International Tax Center of the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and executive programs such as the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard and recently the Women in Board Leadership program at CESA, among others.
