Almudena is a legal director of the M&A and Private Equity team in DLA Piper’s Madrid office. She has extensive experience in advising corporate and investment fund clients, management teams and other stakeholders on a wide range of domestic and international matters, including M&A, private equity, restructurings and joint ventures, with a particular focus on the real estate sector.

Within this sector, Almudena has extensive experience in the hotel and leisure sector, enabling her to provide comprehensive advice on a wide range of matters, including acquisition transactions, construction, leasing and management contracts, franchise agreements and hybrid structures.

In addition to her M&A and private equity experience, Almudena has worked for a global private asset manager, providing her with commercial insight in relation to the structuring, creation and operation of domestic and international funds, carry vehicles, segregated accounts and other investment vehicles. She also advises on investment strategies in primary, secondary and co-investments, as well as direct investment transactions in private equity, venture capital and real estate.
