Brant C. Hadaway
Of Counsel
Diaz Reus
Board Certified by the Florida Bar in International Litigation & Arbitration, Mr. Hadaway had been a partner at Diaz Reus for more than 12 years when he took a sabbatical to fight for liberty in response to state and federal COVID policies. During that time, he brought the lawsuit that resulted in the order lifting the CDC’s rule requiring travel passengers to wear masks - an event that one expert attributed to effectively ending the fear that had pervaded the public consciousness for two years.
Mr. Hadaway is also skilled in appellate practice, civil rights law, regulatory challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act, defamation and First Amendment law, intellectual property, foreign sovereign immunity and liability, deceptive trade practices, insurance coverage, and maritime law.
He is a licensed sailing captain (6-pack) who has sailed thousands of miles of coastal waters and open ocean.
