Carlos is a senior associate in the Litigation and Regulatory Department in Spain and joined DLA Piper in January 2020. Prior to joining the Firm, he was working in the public law team at a prestigious national law firm since 2011.

Carlos specializes in public law matters and regulated sectors such as, among others, public procurement, public assets, infrastructure, water sector, energy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or environment.

His experience also includes advising and handling administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings or advising on the regulatory component of real estate transactions, financing and mergers and acquisitions.

He also has experience from the point of view of private law in civil and real estate-registry law and in commercial, corporate and structural modification law.

He has extensive experience representing domestic and foreign investors.
