Christian is a corporate and private M&A partner in our Düsseldorf office specialised in national and cross-border private equity transactions. He advises on acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, carve-outs, multinational post-merger integrations and corporate restructurings.
Christian’s clients include German and international funds and financial investors, financial institutions, and large corporates. And he also advises members of the management of portfolio companies. He has specific industry expertise in the technology, banking, financial services, and the infrastructure sector (particularly: ports and airports).
Mergers and Acquisitions
He studied law at the Free University of Berlin, the European University Viadrina (research assistant), the Humboldt University Berlin (Dr. iur.), and the Law School of the University of Connecticut (LL.M.).
Christian was named "Top Lawyer M&A" by WirtschaftsWoche in 2021 for the second year in a row.
He was admitted to the German Bar in 2004.
