David is as an associate at Nader, Hayaux & Goebel in the tax practice, focusing on federal taxes and international taxation in M&A transactions, real estate, finance, capital markets and investment funds.

David has developed his professional practice in tax consulting for both public and private companies across various industries, including national and international banking and financial, infrastructure, national and foreign investment and pension funds.

He has been involved in handling all kinds of pre-contentious procedures, requests, and authorizations before the tax authorities and the tax ombudsman.

David obtained his degrees as a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Public Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a Master’s degree in taxation from the Universidad Panamericana (UP). He also has a diploma in international tax law and has taken update courses in tax matters. David is an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (CCPM).

Before joining NHG, David worked for 10 years at a prestigious Mexican tax firm located in Mexico City, and for a time, he also worked from its New York office, where he gained extensive experience in other industries such as retail, digital platforms, bottling companies, sugar mills, ONGs and estate planning for individuals.
