• Graduated from the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) in 1984.
• He completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in 1990.

• He was Dean of the Consular Corps accredited in the Dominican Republic (2017-2019).
• He has been Honorary Consul of Jamaica in the Dominican Republic since 1994.
• Member of the Council of Directors of the Hotel and Tourism Association of the Dominican Republic (ASONAHORES) since 1998, an institution of which he was its President from 2004 to 2006, and honorary professor of the Faculty of Hotel
• Administration of the Universidad Central del Este ( UCE) since 2009.
• He was president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association – CHTA (2010-2012) and other distinguished associations in the country.
• He is an active member of the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic, the Inter-American Bar Association (ITBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA).
