Fernando’s practice focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on product liability disputes that require long-term commitments with clients in sectors such as tobacco, technology, beverage, food, and pharmaceuticals.

Fernando also has extensive experience handling public policy related litigation before the Brazilian High Courts and liaising with international lawyers in Brazilian litigation and co-counseling in cross-border disputes.

Fernando is the author of several articles on changes in procedural law, particularly on collective actions. He has been a speaker at national and international seminars on the Brazilian procedural environment.

Fernando is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP) and the Class Actions Committee of the International Bar Association. He is a former member of the Law Firms Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section and of the Integration Committee with the Superior Courts of the Brazilian Bar Association, Federal Section.
