Gabriela María Arias Lucas is an Associate of García & Bodán and a member of the Corporate and Transactional and Tax practice areas in Guatemala.

She has extensive professional experience in various public and private sector institutions. It is worth mentioning her support in important registries where she performed tasks related to the Intellectual Property area. She has participated in labor cases, supporting in the issuance of resolutions and calculation of benefits of the Labor and Social Security Court. 

She has acquired extensive knowledge in administrative law, through the presentation of appeals at the administrative and judicial level in defense of bidding processes, tax credit refunds and tax and customs law. 

During the last years she has specialized in the area of International Trade, working in the revision of national and international regulations, revision of international contracts and in the correct application of processes and customs regulations.
