Gonzalo Menéndez Park has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and as a member of the Board of Directors of Guatemala’s Electricity Company and of the National Institute of Electrification. He has extensive experience in advising regional companies, especially those in the financial and pharmaceutical field.

Within his professional practice he has served as a member of several boards, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Grupo Camino Real, the largest hotel chain in Guatemala.

Likewise, he is one of the most recognized intellectual property lawyers in the country, in which he has brought several litigation cases for the protection of well-known international brands. In the course of his professional career, he has served as university professor at the Rafael Landívar University and as a counselor at the Ministry of Public Health.
