Education
Certification of mediator, conciliator and negotiator at the International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CICA) and AMCHAM in 2021.
She graduated from the Master’s Program in Labor Law and Social Security of the State Distance University (UNED), in 2011.
Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Costa Rica (UCR), graduated with honors in 2008.
Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration from the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT), with honors graduation in 1997.

Professional experience
Before joining Facio & Cañas, Graciela was a manager at Deloitte, where she led the labor and immigration practice for three years. Previously, she had led the labor law practices at Arias and Batalla. From 2010 to 2016, she worked as a labor specialist and developed the labor litigation practice at Arias & Muñoz. In her work experience, Graciela has advised multiple companies in various industries: life and health sciences, consumer, energy, manufacturing, financial services, technology and agribusiness. In the food and beverage industry, Graciela developed a coffee shop franchise, from its concept and opening to its expansion to six locations.
