Ivan Moguel joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 1982. He was promoted to partner in 1993. In 2007, he was appointed as Partner in charge of the firm’s consulting area, of which he is still in charge. He is adviser to many business groups and on wealth planning of individuals.

He has been a lecturer at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
