Ivelisse Bonilla joined the firm in May 2024, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in Tax Law, both in the private and public sectors.

Throughout her career, she has held roles in legal and tax advisory in renowned firms in the country, including two major Big 4 firms. Similarly, she has had the opportunity to serve in public positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Directorate of Revenues at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she served for 4 years as Head of the Department of International Tax Treaties.

Her experience in both public and private entities has strengthened her ability to understand and address the legal challenges facing companies in the current environment.

Additionally, she has served as a facilitator in the Tax Law module of the Master’s in Fiscal Management and the Tax Diploma at the Specialized University of the Certified Public Accountant (UNESCPA), as well as a facilitator in the Tax Law module and the Information Exchange Module of the Diploma in Tax Law with Emphasis on International Taxation and Tax Evasion at the Universidad Latina de Panamá.
