Jansy Castro began her career as a criminal specialist as a Public Defender from 2005 to 2010; she then worked as an in-house lawyer for the Superintendency of Banks of the Dominican Republic until 2014; and later she worked as lawyer of the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic until 2016. In her practice, General Criminal Law and Business Criminal Law stand out. She is an expert in banking regulation matters and aspects of constitutional law. She has also been a professor of Criminal Procedure Law, Constitutional Law and Banking Regulation.
