Jorge has 17 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, acquired both locally and internationally, advising national and multinational companies on M&A processes, financing, corporate and shareholder matters, contracts, compliance, competition defense, and real estate. He has developed significant expertise in energy matters, with a special focus on the renewable energy market.

Both locally and in the United States, he has also engaged in Pro Bono legal work, providing advice to a wide range of clients on various projects (education, civil and political rights, foundations, and civil associations, etc).

Jorge joined the Firm in April 2016 as Executive Director, when the EY Law - Legal Services practice was launched in Argentina. Currently, he leads this practice for Argentina and Southern Latin America.

Before joining EY Law - Legal Services, Jorge served as Senior Legal Counsel at Genneia S.A., a leading electric power generation company in the renewable energy market, where he further enhanced his expertise in corporate, financial, and energy matters, with a particular focus on renewable energy-related issues.

His most extensive work experience was gained at the Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi law firm, where he worked and trained for over 12 years (2001-2014), providing corporate and transactional advice to clients in diverse industries.

Between 2010 and 2011, he worked as an International Attorney at the New York office of the global law firm White & Case LLP, gaining significant experience in capital markets and debt restructurings.

Jorge is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, where he also serves as a professor and academic coordinator. Additionally, he completed a Master’s degree in Economic Business Law at the same university.

The interdisciplinary collaboration that takes place at EY Law - Legal Services alongside Tax, Audit, Finance, and Transactions departments allows for a comprehensive approach to business challenges, providing clients with added value in the provision of legal services.
