Carey’s partner and one of the members in charge of the Corporate Group / Mergers and Acquisitions / Capital Markets. He advises local and foreign clients in all types of mergers and acquisitions operations, including purchase and sale of shares, corporate rights and assets of open and closed companies, takeover bids, private equity operations, shareholder agreements, issue and transaction of securities. He also advises families and business groups in the corporate organization of their businesses and in the succession structuring of their assets.

He is a professor of Civil Law and former professor of Commercial Law at the Universidad Católica de Chile and author of the book "Agreements on Transfer of Shares".
