Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa
José María García joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in January 2010. He was promoted as Associate in 2016. He has focused his professional practice on the areas of litigation and advice in the areas of international trade and customs, as well as in relation to Free Trade Agreements and World Trade Organization Agreements. Also, his practice focuses on the consulting of administrative procedures before the Tax Administration Service, the Ministry of Economy and other several units of the Federal Government, in relation to customs and international trade matters. Finally, within his experience he has participated in various procedures of unfair international trade practices.

- Law degree, Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) graduate.
- Master in tax law, Universidad Panamericana (UP) graduate.
- Diploma in "International Sports Law" by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
He participated in the XIV National Congress of Lawyers of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA), as rapporteur of the article called "Human Rights and Their Guarantees. Identification and proposals for practical solutions".
- Member of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA), Committees on Foreign Trade and Sports Law.
- Member of the Mexican Public Accountants Institute (IMCP), Committee on Foreign Trade.
- Committee on Foreign Trade in the Mexico-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA).
