Laila has been a part of EY Argentina since 2017, serving as the Manager of the Corporate Law department. Her areas of expertise include Corporate Law, Data Privacy, Compliance (including anti-corruption, money laundering, and transparency), Antitrust, corporate governance, M&As, and regulatory matters.

She is a member of the Legal and Tax Affairs Committee of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce), the Argentine Association of Ethics and Compliance (AAEC), and the Latin American Privacy Association (ALAP).

Laila is a qualified lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, with honors, and has received the Excellence Diploma awarded by the Young Lawyers Commission of the Bar Association of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, among other recognitions. She is licensed in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

She has an extensive postgraduate education, including the Postgraduate Program in Economics and Finance for Lawyers from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona; the International Program in Data Protection and Processing from Austral University; the Intensive Program in Collaborative Governance from Harvard Law School, Harvard University in the United States; the Advanced Program in Compliance, Anti-Corruption, and Investigations from Torcuato Di Tella University; and the Intensive Program on Competition Defense due to new legislation from CPACF in 2019. Additionally, she has obtained various internal certifications from EY in Agility and Cybersecurity, as well as from Harvard Business School in Managing Commitments and Mastering Difficult Situations.

She is known for her great adaptability to the practices and values of the Firm, as well as for her self-demanding nature in strengthening client relationships and constantly seeking to improve deliverables. These qualities have made her a role model for her entire team, contributing to the growth of the department and enhancing her leadership and coordination skills.

Her communication skills are complemented by proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, German, and Korean.
