María Luz Atala joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2019 and is currently an associate at the Litigation and Arbitration Department. Before joining the Firm, she worked at Rivera & Asociados as paralegal.

She graduated with honors from Universidad de San Andrés in 2019, where she was recipient of the ’Juan Bautista Alberdi Scolarship’ to pursue her undergraduate studies. She has also attended the ’Summer Course on Private International Law’ at the Hague Academy of International Law.
She is an assistant teacher at Universidad de San Andrés in the ’International Commercial Arbitration’ and ’International Investment Law’ courses.
During her graduate studies, she participated in the ’Foreign Direct Investment Moot Competition,’ and currently trains Universidad de San Andrés’ teams for different international arbitration competitions
She has published articles on various subjects and is a member of the Colegio de Abogados de la Capital Federal.
