Marval O’Farrell Mairal

Micaela María Zárate joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in October 2022 as an associate member of the Banking and Finance department. She is also part of the Firm’s Asian Desk and she cooperates in advising Asian companies and banks, particularly Chinese.

Before joining the Firm, she lived in Beijing between 2021 and 2022 where she started studying Mandarin Chinese and where she worked in a Chinese company providing corporate legal advice, especially negotiating and drafting contracts between China and Latin America.

Micaela speaks Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English. At present she continues to study Mandarin Chinese online at "The Bridge School" in Beijing.

Banking and Finance

Graduated as a lawyer with honors from the Law School of the Argentine Catholic University in 2020. In 2021 she completed the Postgraduate Course in Companies and Contracts at the Argentine Catholic University and the Postgraduate Course in Corporate Compliance with local and international perspective at the Argentine Catholic University.

Additionally, she completed the Diploma in Chinese Strategic Studies at the National Defense University.
