Mónica Machuca

Ms. Machuca is the Director of the Corporate Law and Intellectual Property divisions of the Salvadoran office. She specializes in Corporate Law with a focus on foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and the preparation and review of contracts. She has extensive experience in the regional management of trademarks, patents and author registrations, as well as in the protection of trademarks and other distinctive signs and relevant administrative and judicial disputes. She is member of the team responsible for drafting the "Natural Gas Law Project" and the "Law of Port Concessions in El Salvador". In the area of labor law, she has experience in the negotiation of collective employment agreements and collective legal and economic disputes. She is an active representative of companies in Labor Relations Committees (Employer/Employee).

Mónica Machuca holds a degree in Law from the Dr. José Matías Delgado University and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Castilla.
He holds a degree in Law, Cum Laude Probatus, from Universidad Autónoma de Centro América and a Master’s Degree from the University of Hull in the UK. He also has a PIL from Harvard University and became a Notary Public in 1986.
