Natalia is partner in charge of the Financial Regulation and Investment Funds area within the Finance Department of DLA Piper Spain.
With more than twenty-five years of professional experience, she specializes in advising financial institutions on the regulation that affects their daily activity, both in the banking sector, payment services, investment services and asset management.
In the banking sector, she advises on business models to be implemented in Spain by Spanish and foreign financial institutions, authorization processes before the Bank of Spain and the CNMV, MiFID policies, CRD, marketing of financial products, proceedings before the Bank of Spain and the CNMV. She also advises on CRR legal opinions for risk mitigation, payment and e-money services, deposit taking and lending in Spain, factoring and leasing in Spain.
Natalia has extensive experience in regulatory issues affecting the asset management industry: ELTIF, UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs, Cross Border Fund Distribution Directive, incorporation of investment funds and fund managers, master-feeder structures, fund pre-marketing and M&A support.
Natalia also has extensive experience in anti-money laundering and also advises on crypto-assets (MICA, advertising requirements) and ESG.
