Paola studied at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and has enriched her education with various advanced academic opportunities in Mexico and abroad.

She has a Doctorate’s degree in Administration and Judicial Branch Governance from Instituto de Estudios Judiciales del Tribunal Superior de Justicia and from the Legal Research Institute at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her international background includes her graduate studies in Italy and Spain as well as her participation in the Management Program for Lawyers at Yale School of Management.

Prior to joining Galicia, she had notable experience in Mexico‘s Supreme Court of Justice. Paola worked at a renowned law firm focused on fiscal matters. She was later a Secretary and Coordinator in the Mexico’s Supreme Court of Justice for 11 years. During this time, she acquired an extensive understanding of the Mexican legal system, allowing her to serve as a Magistrate for the Fourteenth Metropolitan Regional Chamber of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice for 8 years at which she was a presiding judge over various relevant fiscal and administrative cases, setting important precedents.
During her time at the federal court, she was a member of the Gender Equality Commission, focusing on the implementation of sexual harassment and assault, workplace harassment, labor equality and non-discrimination policies.
She is currently a member of the Latin American Network of Women in Procedural Law and Evidential Reasoning.
