Rosa Restrepo joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1995. From 1989 to 2008, Ms. Restrepo was the resident lawyer in ARIFA’s British Virgin Islands office. She is an ARIFA’s Compliance Committee member as well as the partner responsible for the implementation of due diligence policies and procedures of the ARIFA Group.
Ms. Restrepo specializes in advising institutional and private clients in the areas of offshore services, fiscal residency, estate planning, trusts and foundations. In these areas, she helps clients adapt to the new challenges resulting from international standards on corporate structuring. She also offers a broad expertise in assisting international clients with the implementation of FATCA, CRS and other pieces of foreign legislation that may affect their structures and activities.
