Alex Mitchell

Alex is a banking partner in London and heads the leveraged finance team. He has broad experience acting on a range of acquisition and infrastructure finance and restructuring transactions, and has a particular focus on acting for private equity houses and investment funds on leveraged acquisitions and refinancings.

Alex joined Freshfields in 1999 and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. He has been a partner since 2008.

Solicitor of the senior courts of England and Wales (2001).

Law degree, with first class honours, University of Cambridge, Trinity Hall (1997).
