Mauricio has extensive experience in business, real estate, commercial, family, agrarian, litigation, foreign investment & inter trade law. During his career, Mr. Martínez has participated as leading counsel in the creation of the 2,000-hectare private reserve located in the south zone of Costa Rica; and has been actively involved in promoting the "Maritime Area Regulation Bill" in Congress.
Mr. Martínez has recently participated in three different real estate property transactions in the south zone of Costa Rica, for a total amount of US$ 3,000,000; he also acted as leading counsel in the transfer of a pineapple operation, successfully closed in the amount of US$ 25,000,0000. He is in the process of advising and preparing the first agriculture investment made by a Costa Rican company in the Republic of Ghana, Africa.
