Creighton and Partners is a specialist family law firm undertaking both public and private law family work.

The public law team have a wealth of experience in acting for parents and children involved with social services both pre proceedings and during proceedings. The team is able to assist with all matters including applications for emergency protection orders, care orders, supervision orders, secure accommodation orders, Special Guardianship Orders (including advice upon support plans), adoption and applications under the Inherent Jurisdiction of the High Court. 

Many members of the team are members of the Law Society’s Children Panel.  We are dedicated to providing a full service to our clients and endeavor to undertake our own advocacy where possible.  We have a team of dedicated solicitor advocates and solicitors with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil).

The private law team undertakes all aspects of private family law work including protective orders for victims of domestic violence, divorce, arrangements for children and financial matters arising upon divorce. 

Mediation is also offered for separating couples to explore options and solutions both in respect of children and finances. The team is led by a Resolution Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer and includes a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Domestic Abuse.
