Edmondson Hall Solicitors and Sports Lawyers is a progressive and expanding practice based in Newmarket – the hub of British horse racing. Edmondson Hall was formed in 1994 to provide legal services to the bloodstock and equine industry.

We have enjoyed successful expansion since 1994 and are now proud of our highly skilled Solicitors and other staff who offer a full-service law firm providing a whole variety of legal support to clients here in the UK and all around the world.

The firm remains deeply committed to the horseracing industry as well as other wider equine disciplines and other sports and is listed as leaders in our field of bloodstock law in the Chambers Directory of top law firms. Edmondson Hall is a firm that holds traditional values yet has a very forward-thinking modern approach and is committed to providing a professional and efficient service tailored to our clients’ needs.

In 2019 Edmondson Hall celebrated a huge milestone with the 25th Anniversary of the firm’s formation, as well as a merger with the Town’s oldest firm of Solicitors, Rustons and Lloyd, which was established in 1834, therefore combining the modern law firm with the heritage brand. Rustons & Lloyd developed the concept of fractional ownership of Stallions in the middle part of the last century and syndicated the ill-fated Shergar in 1981.
