Level

We created Level to enable lawyers working in media, entertainment, technology and sport to enjoy a better way of working.

Level was established by four prominent sports lawyers - Morris Bentata, Dan Harrington, Daniel Lowen and Fraser Reid.

Having spent their careers in traditional law firm sports practices, they had come to the conclusion that the conventional model no longer best suited their (or their clients’) needs. Times had changed. Client expectations were changing. Definitions of career success and job happiness were changing. They saw an opportunity to create a different way of working for themselves and other lawyers like them.

The foursome launched Level in the summer of 2017, with the support of their colleague Kelly Greenland, who came on board as the firm’s practice manager.

Working out of WeWork offices, the team initially set about establishing Level as a leading name in the sports law sector.

Within a few months, they had been joined by a handful of consultant solicitors all specialising in sport - the ball was rolling.
