Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa

Pere M. Pons joined Chévez Ruiz Zamarripa at the end of 2018, after working in prestigious Spanish firms in Spain and New York. He heads the Spanish and LATAM practices of the firm, which is also the most notorious tax firm in Mexico.

Pere specializes in international taxation, regularly advising on the tax planning of international investment structures in Spain and Latin America, as well as operations of hedge funds and private equity entities in Spain and abroad. He also advises on the tax implications in Spain of financing structures, of swaps and financial products, and on Spanish investments abroad.

Pere has extensive experience in real estate and distressed debt investments, as well as tax planning for tax consolidated groups and subsidiaries of multinational companies. He also regularly assists high net worth individuals and family offices, and has advised on the regularization of off-shore investments and excessive debt push down structures (including legal defense in tax audits and courts of justice).
