I specialise in the financial aspects of relationship breakdown acting for both married and unmarried separating couples.
I am a member of the national family law organisation, Resolution. Resolution members promote an approach to family law that is sensitive, constructive, cost-effective and most likely to result in an agreement.
I advise and represent clients in divorce proceedings and in particular in respect of the financial arrangements to be made on separation.
My practice includes advice and representation for unmarried couples and parents, on the breakdown of civil partnerships and in relation to property claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
I have been a specialist in complex private child law cases for many years. I advise and represent clients in court in respect of arrangements for children and child relocation cases.
When court proceedings and a firmer approach is essential, I am an unrelenting and robust court advocate. I have many years of experience representing clients ( including children) in complex and contested matters in court before District and Circuit Judges.
I sit on the Hertfordshire Family Justice Board as chair of training and head HFJB’s private family law working group.
