Involved in ground-breaking cases: Article 50 case to the Court of Justice of the European Union; Cherry prorogation case; Brexit extension case; additional party in the successful Church lockdown case.

Trained Bonar Mackenzie; qualified 1986; barrister and solicitor New Zealand 1990; Balfour+Manson LLP from 1993, partner 1997; solicitor-advocate (civil) 1999, Head of Litigation 2006 and Executive Chairman 2014 to 2020 and presently Non Exec Chairman. Accredited specialist by the Law Society of Scotland in professional regulatory law in 2019. Awarded an outstanding achievement award in 2019. Awarded Managing Partner of the year 2020 and CEO Chairman of a legal firm 2021.
