Ricardo W. Beller has been a partner of Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal since 1999, having joined the firm in 1996. 

He specializes in corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and oil & gas. 

He graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1989 with a law degree, obtained an LLM with honors at Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, U.S.A. in 1995 and attended an M.B.A. program "Management of Organizations" at Kellogg General School of Management, Chicago, U.S.A. in 1995.

He worked as a foreign associate at Cleary, Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, New York, during 1995/96. He was admitted by the New York State Bar in 1998, and is also a member of the Bar of the City of Buenos Aires. 

He is ranked among the top tier lawyers of Argentina by several specialized publications in the areas of corporate finance, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and oil & gas, including Chambers, International Financial Law Review (IFLR), International Law Office (ILO), and PLC Which Lawyer.

International Law Office (ILO), granted Ricardo Beller the "Client Choice Award" on five opportunities as the best lawyer in Argentina in three different areas: capital markets (2010 and 2012), mergers and acquisitions (2013) and oil & gas (2014 and 2016).

Ricardo is the author of several articles published by Argentine and international specialized magazines. 

He is an active member of the International Insolvency Institute, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and the Cámara de Sociedades Anónimas.
