Pablo Gayol joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 1997. His practice in the firm is centered in international trade, mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets and derivative regulations.  

In the antidumping field he worked in several investigations, including the investigation against Chinese footwear, one of the lengthiest and most complex investigations in the last decade, in which he successfully represented most of the major international brands and many Chinese manufacturers. 

He also participated in the acquisition of companies, both in transactions in which he represented the buyer and in transactions in which he represented the seller. In addition, he has advised in the structuring of start-ups. 

Within the financial field, he regularly advises local and international financial institutions, brokers and companies in derivative contracts, capital market regulations and complex financial transactions.

He graduated as a lawyer cum laudae at Universidad Católica Argentina in 1996 and obtained a Masters in Laws from the University of Chicago Law School in 1997 and a Master in Finance from Universidad del CEMA in 2002. Pablo has also been a CFA Charterholder since 2012.
 

Pablo is Professor of Antidumping and Quantitative Restrictions at Universidad de San Andrés and Professor of Derivatives Law at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and the Universidad del CEMA.

Pablo is recommended in International Trade by Chambers & Partners, Legal500, Latin Lawyer 250 and Who´s Who Legal. 
 

Pablo has written papers on international trade, financial derivatives, and corporate matters.
