Has ample experience in administrative law, public law, domestic arbitration and as a notary. During his professional practice has served as a university professor, as legal advisor for several professional associations, such as veterinarians, journalists, psychologists, social workers. It has been external  lawyer of the public sector companies as Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social, Banco Crédito Agrícola de Cartago, Fundación Costa Rica Canadá. 

EDUCATION

• Master in constitutional law.
• Public Notary.
• Law graduate of the Universidad de Costa Rica.

• Member of the Costa Rican Lawyer’s Association since 1988. 
• Legal arbitrator  since 2001.
• Active member of several arbitration centers in Costa Rica such as the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce; the Conflict Resolution Center of the Engineers and Architects Association of Costa Rica and the Alternative Justice Center of the Costa Rica Bar Association.
• President of the Institute of the press and freedom of expression IPLEX, with large experience on issues of freedom of expression and access to public information.
