DLA Piper Argentina Advises the Province of Chubut on US$106 Million Debt Refinancing

DLA Piper Argentina provided legal counsel to the Province of Chubut in the issuance of new "TIDECH 2025" Notes for a total nominal amount of US$106,757,254, as part of the refinancing of the previous "TIDECH 2024" Notes.

The transaction was completed on May 18 with the issuance of the new notes, which mature on November 18, 2030, amortize in 19 quarterly installments, and include a one-year grace period from the issuance date.
The TIDECH 2025 Notes are secured with funds from the Federal Tax Co-participation Regime and were listed for secondary trading on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. (BYMA) and A3 Mercados S.A. (A3).

The refinancing was carried out through an exchange for the new TIDECH 2025 Notes, which were subscribed by the Sustainability Guarantee Fund (FGS) of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES).
