GTL International is planning to invest in Bolivia
GTL, the oil company is planning on investing close to US$5.5 billion in four different projects in Bolivia, which comprise of: Gas transformation to ecological diesel oil; transformation of gas to liquids; from gas to plastics, and from gas to diethyl ether.
Also GTL Bolivia, is planning further investments of US$ 460 million on a plant to convert gas into ecological diesel oil.
Both GTL International as well as GTL Bolivia, had a meeting with the members of the Economic Committee in Congress to discuss these projects. The project submitted by GTL Bolivia, is to install a plant to convert gas into diesel, with an initial output production of 10,000 barrels a day for domestic use. On the other hand the projects of GTL International include:
A Plant to convert gas into liquids to be built in the southern west part of the country, Tarija; second, a plant to convert gas into plastics which would be located close to La Paz, another one to convert gas into diethyl ether, and one to convert gas into diesel to be built in the city of Santa Cruz.
All these projects are to be initiated once the Hydrocarbon?s Bill has been approved by Congress.
