Juan José Figueroa joins the ARAQUEREYNA team

On its 35th anniversary, ARAQUEREYNA announced the incorporation of Juan José Figueroa as a partner. Juan José has 25 years of professional experience in civil, commercial, real estate, family business and business and contract structuring.

Juan José has dedicated part of his practice to assisting individuals; he has also led acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs of commercial companies, as well as institutions in the educational sector. He has participated in the resolution of conflicts through judicial processes and through the use of alternative methods.

In the energy area, he advised General Electric in their business in Venezuela. He has assisted international investors in their acquisitions of international companies’ Venezuela assets. In the first decade of 2000, he participated in the process related to the corporate differences of the shareholders of the time, of an important telecommunications company, representing one of the minority shareholders. Furthermore, he represented a group of partners of a fast food chain in the corporate differences between the shareholders. He participated in the design of the corporate agreements and alliances for the development of large road infrastructure works and industrial plants in different parts of the country. He has handled several negotiation processes within the framework of inheritance or business between individuals.

Juan José has provided consulting services to third and fourth level educational institutes, among them the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA), the most prestigious business and management school in Venezuela. He also provides services to Fundación Proyecto Maniapure, an NGO that provides medical assistance to vulnerable people in remote places in Venezuela.
