Sale of the new presidential aircraft to the Brazilian federal government
Pinheiro Neto, through partners Fernando R. de Almeida Prado and Gilberto Giusti, senior associates Ricardo S. Russo and Ricardo P. Levyand associate Tiago Themudo Lessa, assisted Airbus S.N.C. during the bidding procedures and the review and discussions regarding the agreement involving the acquisition of a new presidential aircraft (Airbus A319-100 Corporate Jetliner) by the Brazilian government. The deal was closed on February 6. The cost of the transaction was US$ 57 million.
The government was represented by members of the Brazilian Air Force Command.
Neil Curtis was the in-house lawyer of Airbus S.N.C. acting on the deal.
