TPL Holding Ltd.. acquires a majority interest in of Termocandelaria Power Ltd.

Posse Herrera Ruiz acted as Colombian legal advisor to the syndicate of 4 banks that granted financing for US$140 million to TPL Holding Ltd. (a company constituted by certain vehicles of Mercantil Colpatria S.A., Moneda Asset Management and SCL Energía Activa S.A.) in connection with the acquisition of approximately 60% of Termocandelaria Power Ltd. (Cayman company) with share participation in two of the main thermoelectric plants in Colombia (Termocandelaria and Termobarranquilla).
