 Heiddy Moronta Mejía joined Ulises Cabrera in 2020 with a prominent role in the transactional practice. She has over 20 years of experience representing the leading institutions and organizations, with a national and international spectrum, in legal matters related to Project Financing, Foreign Investment, Banking Regulation, Insurance Law, Free Zones, Environmental Law, Energy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Contracts, Immigration, Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (PLAFT), Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance.

 She has been ranked by Chambers and Partners in the Environment practice area.

 Heiddy Moronta Mejía is a law graduate, cum laude, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). She has a master’s degree in International Business, concentration in Energy and Environment from the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas, United States and was a Fulbright Scholar.
