Adriana de Buerba is a partner in the Economic Criminal Law and Investigations area of Pérez-Llorca since January 2010.
She joined Pérez-Llorca in 2008 as head of the Firm’s Criminal Law practice, after ten years of practice in the Tax Career.
Her area of practice focuses on economic criminal law and investigations. Adriana has intervened in multiple criminal proceedings for corporate crimes, tax fraud, workplace accidents, scams, theft of assets or misappropriation.

Adriana has recognized experience in international judicial cooperation due to her intervention in numerous transnational criminal proceedings with the execution of requests for international judicial assistance. She is also an expert in extradition procedures and European arrest warrants. The team she leads also advises several companies on corporate compliance.

Adriana has been a teacher in the Initial Training Course for Prosecutors and in the continuing training courses of the Center for Legal Studies of the Ministry of Justice (CEJ).
She has also collaborated in continuing training courses organized by the General Council of the Judiciary or the Directorate of the Legal Service of the Social Security Administration.
She is a professor in the Master’s Degree in Economic Criminal Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid and participates in various forums specialized in Economic Criminal Law.
