Ana joined Pérez-Llorca in May 2019 and was appointed partner in January 2021. Prior to joining, she held the position of Chief State Attorney at the State Secretariat for Energy. Previously, she served for six years as State Attorney before the National Court, being coordinator of the Energy and Telecommunications Area.
In these destinations, she has been coordinator of the Legal Assistance Agreements signed between the General State Attorney’s Office and the National Energy Commission, National Markets and Competition Commission (Energy Area), Nuclear Safety Council and the Institute for the Energy Diversification and Savings (IDAE).
Likewise, she performed her duties as State Attorney at the State Attorney’s Office in Zaragoza and in the Criminal Department of the State’s General Attorney’s Office.
Experience
Ana has extensive consultative experience in Energy Law acquired through advice as Chief State Attorney at the State Secretariat for Energy and as coordinator of legal assistance agreements with the National Energy Commission, National Commission of the Markets and Competition (Energy Area), Nuclear Safety Council and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE). Likewise, she has collaborated in international arbitrations raised under the Energy Charter Treaty.
Likewise, she has extensive experience in the procedural field having performed for six years, as Deputy State Attorney before the National Court, the functions of representation and defense in court of the General Administration of the State in matters of Energy, as well as the representation and defense in court of the National Energy Commission and subsequently of the National Commission of Markets and Competition in relation to the decisions adopted by the Regulatory Supervision Chamber in matters of Energy.
In other areas of Regulatory Law, he has extensive experience in Telecommunications, Audiovisual Communication and the Postal Sector, having assumed the representation and defense in court in this matter of both the General State Administration and the Market Commission. Telecommunications, National Commission of the Postal Sector and later the National Commission of Markets and Competition.
He also has extensive procedural experience in the rest of the branches of Public Law, having assumed the functions of representation and defense in trials of the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment before the National Court, and intervened before various Superior Courts. of Justice and Contentious-Administrative Courts.
In matters of public procurement, she has been a speaker at the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources.
