Carlos joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a Partner to contribute to the international strategy of the firm and is based in Portugal where he is responsible for the Banking, Energy & Infrastructure practice.
Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he was a Partner at a reputed Portuguese law firm where he headed the Finance, Energy & Infrastructure practice. Prior to that, he was a senior lawyer in the Banking & Projects department of a Magic Circle law firm with offices in Lisbon and a lawyer in a reputed Iberian law firm.
Furthermore, Carlos was also member of the cabinet of the Portuguese Minister of State and Finance and senior consultant at UTAP (the Portuguese Public-Private Partnerships unit).
