David Baracco

David Baracco is a lawyer from Universidad de Lima, graduated with honors (summa cum laude and top tenth of the class), and has a Postgraduate International Diploma in Administrative Law from Universidad ESAN - Graduate School of Business. Currently, he is studying for completing the LLM program in International Commercial Law and Practice at the University of Edinburgh. David is a Senior Associate at the Lima office, where he focuses his practice on mining law, natural resources law, energy, projects and infrastructure, and commercial law.
In addition to his experience in our firm, David worked as an associate at Miranda & Amado from 2014 to 2022.
David is a former teaching assistant of Comparative Mining Law of the Master of Mining Law at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and Public International Law at Universidad de Lima. He has also written and published several articles focused on substantive aspects of the regulation of natural resources, and he has also been a speaker at conferences.
He speaks fluently Spanish and English.
