Felipe is a partner in the International Arbitration Group in the New York office.
He has more than 15 years of experience providing specialized guidance to clients in investment planning, contract negotiation and dispute resolution at all stages. His practice focuses on disputes in the Americas.
Felipe has experience in investment arbitrations, domestic arbitrations in the United States, international commercial arbitrations and in litigation matters.
Before joining Pérez-Llorca, Felipe worked at two world-renowned law firms, and at one of the most distinguished law firms in Chile.
His experience covers a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and arbitration in areas such as post-merger and acquisition adjustments, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, engineering, construction, mining and public concessions.
He also advises investors and states on investment disputes, particularly in sectors related to energy, infrastructure, insurance, pensions and financial services.
Since 2023, Felipe has been a member of the registry of international arbitrators of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Medellín Chamber of Commerce.
Felipe has a multicultural background, with legal studies under continental and Anglo-Saxon law. He is licensed in Chile and New York, is fluent in English and Spanish, and has successfully handled cases with relevant elements in Portuguese.
